The Chameleon strode through the crowd,
Observing the trend around,
Blending perfectly well,
Walking with lowered gaze.
The Chameleon reached its destination,
The place where they planned to gather,
Being the only odd one out,
Stood near the plants,
Lest they notice the difference,
Lest they shun her for what she is.
Tried to blend into the party,
With all elegant and royal attendees.
The Chameleon couldn't stop with that,
The ambition within, to fit in, grew even more,
She opened up little by little to the attendees,
Wrapping them up in her camouflage,
Her silhoutte near the window vague,
Mistook her for a royal attendee.
The Chameleon threw her camouflage,
Revealed her true self,
Blending perfectly with her surroundings,
To the world she knew before.
Those who knew her, she was true,
She was frank, with a bit of monotone,
A bit of wit, humor and encouragement.
Surprising many, astounding some.
The Chameleon so unpredictable,
The Chameleon so mysterious,
The Chameleon full of diversity,
The Chameleon within me!!
truly you!!
