Care for Others

Japanese houses normally have a hollow space between the wooden walls.
When tearing down the walls, a man found that there was a lizard stuck there because a nail from outside hammered into one of its feet.
He sees this, feels pity, and at the same time curious, as when he checked the nail, it was nailed 10 years ago when the house was first built.
What happened?
The lizard has survived in such position for 10 years!!!!!!!!!!
In a dark wall partition for 10 years without moving, it is impossible and mind-boggling.
Then he wondered how this lizard survived for 10 years! without moving a single step--since its foot was nailed!
So he stopped his work and observed the lizard, what it has been doing, and what and how it has been eating.
Later, not knowing from where it came, appears another lizard, with food in its mouth.
Ah! He was stunned and touched deeply.
For the lizard that was stuck by nail, another lizard has been feeding it for the past 10 years...
Imagine, it has been doing that untiringly for 10 long years, without giving up hope on its partner.
Imagine what a small creature can do that a creature blessed with a brilliant mind can't.
Please never abandon your loved ones
Never Say U R Busy When They Really Need You ..
You May Have The Entire World At Your Feet.....
But You Might Be The Only World To Them....
A Moment of negligence might break the very heart which loves you thru all odds..
Before you say something just remember..It takes a moment to Break but an entire life to make...
To Live Use Heart And to Survive use Brains.

Just A Minute

As the minute ticks.....
It reminds me of many things.....
So many things that could go wrong...
So many things that could be great....
Just a moment....Just a minute....
For anything to change!

I walk along...
Glancing to my left and right...
Busy strides, busy hands...
Engrossed in their lively chat...
Holding on to the minute...to the moment....
To enjoy the pleasure!

Just a minute of your life....
A moment in your thoughts....
An instant of vision....
A slight echo in the ear...
A gesture by your hand....
A cool breeze....
Fragrance of a flower....
In the spur of a moment....
Can fade away!

Just a minute.....a moment...
It is never too late
To hold it for yourself....
And grow stronger forever!

Charles Schultz Philosophy

The following is the philosophy of Charles Schultz, the creator of the "Peanuts" comic strip. You don't have to actually answer the questions. Just read this straight through, and you'll get the point.

1. Name the five wealthiest people in the world.
2. Name the last five Heisman trophy winners.
3. Name the last five winners of the Miss America Contest.
4. Name ten people who have won the Nobel or Pulitzer Prize.
5. Name the last half dozen Academy Award winners for best actor and actress.
6. Name the last decade's worth of World Series winners.

How did you do?

The point is, none of us remember the headliners of yesterday. They are not second-rate achievers. They are the best in their fields. But the applause dies. Awards tarnish. Achievements are forgotten. Accolades and certificates are buried with their owners.

Here's another quiz. See how you do on this one:
1. List a few teachers who aided your journey through school.
2. Name three friends who have helped you through a difficult time.
3. Name five people who have taught you something worthwhile.
4. Think of a few people who have made you feel appreciated and special.
5. Think of five people you enjoy spending time with.
Easier? The lesson: The people who make a difference in your life are NOT the ones with the most credentials, the most money, or the most awards. They are the ones who care.

Share this with those who have made a difference in your life. I just did! "Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia ." (Charles Schultz)

Journey of our Life

One day of the many days There was a man traveling on a trip with his Wife and Kids And on the way he met someone standing in the roadway

So he asked him: Who are you? He said: I am the money So the man asked his wife and kids : Should we ask him to ride with us? They said together: Yes of course because with the money it can help us if we wanted to do
anything, and if we wanted to get anything we desired, So they took the Money to ride with them. And the vehicle continued its way until the man met someone else on the road So the

Father asked: Who are you? He said: I am the high position and power

So the father asked his wife and kids : Should we ask him to ride with us? So they all answered together in one voice: Yes of course because with the high position and power we have the ability to do anything we want and own anything we desired. So they took the high position and power with them And the vehicle continued to finish its trip .

And likewise he met in the same manner many people which give the pleasures and desires of this life, UNTIL .. They met one person on the way..

The Father asks him Who are you? He said: I am the Deen (Islam)
So the father, wife, and kids said all together in one voice: No no this isn't the time, we desire the pleasures of this life and dunyah, and the Deen will prevent us and ban us from these things and it will take control over us, and we will be worn-out from being loyal to it and its learning. And the halal and the Haram, and this thing prayer and that thing hijab, and this fasting , and and and and and etc, It will be a burden upon us!!! But what is certain is that we will definitely return for you to pick you up but only after we enjoy this life and everything in it. So sadly they left him behind and the vehicle continued its trip.

And out of no where something appeared in the middle of the road It was a check point in the road and it had a sign saying STOP!!! And they found a man gesturing for the father to get out of the vehicle. So the man said to the father: The trip has ended as far as you are concerned!!!! And it is upon you to get out and come with me. The father was shocked with fear and didn't say a word. So the man said to him: I am searching for the DEEN.e Islam Is he with you? He answered: No I left him not too far back. So if you can let me go back, I can get him for you : You do not have the ability to go back, your trip has ended and there is no going back now.. returning is impossible said the man.

But I have The Money, The high position and power, My Wife, My Kids, and and and and and and on. The man said to him: They will not benefit you nor will they protect you in front of Allah. Not one bit! And you will leave all of this, and not one of them will help you except for The Deen e Islam you know? The one which YOU left back in the road.

So the father asked: And who are you exactly?
I AM DEATH
The one which you were needless of and didn't take into account in your trip!!
The father looked at his vehicle and found his wife taking control of it and continuing the trip with all of its passengers but him
And none of them stayed with him, and none of them helped him in any way.

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Abu

Hurairah (r.a.) reported: Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said,
“ Be prompt in doing good deeds (before you are overtaken) by turbulence which would be like a part of the dark night. A man would be a believer in the morning and turn to disbelief in the evening, or he would be a believer in the evening and turn disbeliever in the morning, and would sell his Faith for worldly goods” Riyadh-us Saliheen Muslim Haidth number 87 Chapter 106

Allah says in The Holy Quran Chapter 102 Surah Takhathur verses 1-2:
1 The mutual rivalry for piling up (the good of this world) diverts you (from the more serious things; ie. salvation in the life Hereafter)
2 Until ye visit the graves (ie. until one is buried in one’s grave!)

The Chameleon

The Chameleon strode through the crowd,
Observing the trend around,
Blending perfectly well,
Walking with lowered gaze.

The Chameleon reached its destination,
The place where they planned to gather,
Being the only odd one out,
Stood near the plants,
Lest they notice the difference,
Lest they shun her for what she is.
Tried to blend into the party,
With all elegant and royal attendees.

The Chameleon couldn't stop with that,
The ambition within, to fit in, grew even more,
She opened up little by little to the attendees,
Wrapping them up in her camouflage,
Her silhoutte near the window vague,
Mistook her for a royal attendee.

The Chameleon threw her camouflage,
Revealed her true self,
Blending perfectly with her surroundings,
To the world she knew before.
Those who knew her, she was true,
She was frank, with a bit of monotone,
A bit of wit, humor and encouragement.
Surprising many, astounding some.

The Chameleon so unpredictable,
The Chameleon so mysterious,
The Chameleon full of diversity,
The Chameleon within me!!

Evolution of Sanau

Most people who know me personally might think that my screen name,
Sanau, is a simple derivation from my first name and last name. But, you are wrong!!! There is more to it. Sanau is not such a simple person. I might seem simple, but the more you know me, the more puzzling I can be. The same goes with my screen name.

Ok. For beginners and first time readers, I love reading books, especially fiction and comics. 4 years back, I got introduced to Manga, japanese comics. The first one I ever read was the Fruits Basket, with Tohru Honda, Sohma Kyo and Sohma Yuki as the main characters. Then came Hana Kimi (drums please), with Sano Izumi and Ashiya Mizuki as the lead characters. A while later, I got introduced to Japanese and Korean dramas. Well, I had a yahoo 360 space dedicated for those, but now I've lost interest in dramas. I just don't have the patience to sit and watch them, when the ending seems so obvious and 10-15 episodes, such a waste of time. Getting back to the dramas, there was one called Snow Queen, which had Math as the main theme of the story. It went something like, there was this really smart boy, who used to always top all the Math olympiads and then came a poor boy who was even more brilliant than him, n blah blah. Yes, as you can see, Math fascinates me. So I got wired to Snow Queen initially and later lost interest.

Evolution of Sanau:
It all began with Yuki. I liked the name Yuki and also the character in Fruits Basket. Then I found that Yuki means Snow (Wow! What a coincidence). Then came Hana Kimi and Sano Izumi. Well, yes, I was totally blown over by this super cool character of Sano Izumi in the Manga (Specifically Manga, 'coz there has been a couple of dramas with the same name, but the main lead does not compare to the Manga lead). Well, yes, even the female lead is very cute and they suit each other very well (Repeat, only the Manga characters).

So then, the evolution, Sano => Sanau => Snow =>Snow Queen.

Well, yes, I know, for those of you who know me, this might be a surprize. But face the fact, there are a lot more surprizes with Sanau around ;)

Good Luck

Not only for the year ahead, but also for this moment
Strive to make the best use of it
Find success and joy in each step of your life.
Good Luck!!!!

Awakening

I was asleep, in my own dreamland,
In my utopia with my books, cell and PC.

When I woke up, I was in another place
And I strode alone towards my destination,
A bright light along the straight unwavering path,
As I walked, I realized, I wasn't walking alone,
There were millions of people as far as my eye could reach,
To my left and to my right,
In front and behind,
All trying to reach the same light,
Treading through the same unwavering path.

Both young and old, men and women,
With no distinction of their nation,
No hatred, jealousy, hostility or enmity.
All gathered, together, in the vicinity of the Holy land
With just one wish in our hearts,
A humble and innocent request to our Lord.

Please accept our prayers and our good deeds,
Please forgive us our sins,
Help us make this world a better and peaceful place to live,
Let us be among the blessed people,
The dwellers of Paradise,
Help us to live a contented life, through thick or thin.
Stregthen our faith, with steadfast heart,
That strives for the Hereafter.

O My Lord, with the millions of people around me,
I feel so insignificant. What am I without you?
You created me, made me born to the family I am in now.
What do I have to be proud of?
You gave me good health and good intelligence.
You gave me the blessings of living a contented life.
You gave me everything, even without me asking.
But, I am greedy. I still ask you for many things,
'Coz I know, I'm nothing without your blessings.
Just a lump of dust. That is where I came from,
That is where I'll return to.
The physique that I boast of as mine,
Do I have control over it?
What is the complicated machinery within it?
Can I nurture and control it? Not a chance.

O my Lord, even then I feel that I'm special to you.
You blessed me so much.
Each day is a flow of new events and surprizes.
Yes, they are all a test from you.
Each trial and tribulation, a test for my patience.
Each happy and successful moment, a test of my gratefulness to You.
Thank You for making me who I am.
Thank You for giving me a wonderful family,
Thank You for giving me awesome friends,
Thank You for giving me education,
Thank You for all the things that has happened to me,
Some bitter lessons and other happy moments.

O my Lord, I believe that
If I pray to you sincerely, with good intention,
You will surely answer my prayer.
If not here, in the Hereafter.
