Didn't know what to expect

When he came into my life,

With a small cry, he said

'Hello world' and was laid 

Snugly in my arms.

Tiny little thing, 

Small hands and feet

And even cuter little face

I gazed at this little miracle

With awe, with love, 

With a feeling only mom's can behold.
